Seamus Golf Hand Forged® Pendleton® Sugar Skulls Ball Mark - Oil Can

$44

Once you see this ball mark in the sunlight you'll fall in love with the design and the amazing colour changes. Each ball mark has been heat treated by hand between 350 and 730 degrees to create tan, bronze, purple and blue hues on the metal. Each ball mark is uniquely 1 of 1 and must be seen in hand to truly appreciate the variation in colours.

The history of the sugar skulls dates back 3,000 years to the Aztecs and lives on in Mexico as a way to honour departed relatives. The bright colours capture the celebration and honour the dead. Always a favourite of our friends of Seamus, it is an honour to bring these back and share our new product ideas with the world.

Each Hand Forged® Ball Mark is made in Portland, Oregon, USA by a second generation blacksmith who learned the trade in his father’s shop. Designed by SEAMUS GOLF and inspired by a vintage niblick, the metal ball mark carries forward the same aesthetic of the hickory shafted antiques gamed by Tom Morris and the like.

Each Hand Forged® Ball Mark is 3.8cm in diameter.

Disclaimer:  The Oil Can feature is a flame applied finish that is designed to wear over time. Each ball mark is heat treated by hand which makes every Hand Forged® ball mark different. On ball marks that are hand stamped, the steel colour will be apparent around the stamping. Please also be aware that we cannot make special requests for colour.
